We expect to bring up to 300 people from the Midwest and across the nation to tour and discuss the built and economic environment of our area and to attend keynote addresses and workshops on such timely topics as historic preservation, sustainability, effects of the built environment on health and well-being, and planning for the future.
Show off Columbus day
Friday, October 12, will be “Show off Columbus day” with an architecture/landscape tour and keynote address in the afternoon and a walking sculpture tour in the evening. The day will end with a welcome to Columbus reception at Irwin Gardens (Visitor’s Center if inclement weather), compliments of the Irwin-Sweeney-Miller family and six Columbus caterers, and a keynote address. Saturday will feature educational programming and an evening banquet, awards presentation, and keynote panel discussion.
